essence cosmetics Singapore Ready For Boarding Collection Prices and Swatches

The arrival of March brings us the arrival of a new trend edition from essence called Ready For Boarding!
(I didn't get everything from the collection, if you want to see what other items were available, click here)

 Here is what I got:

2-in-1 Kajal Pencil in destination sunshine

I picked up the 2-in-1 Kajal Pencil in destination sunshine, which a pale blue colour and a light creamy yellow. It retails for S$3.50, which is a steal since you're getting two shades. Both sides have a creamy consistency and I think they would look great in the spring/summer!

Lip & Cheek Cremes

L-R:               01 sending you kisses,                                       02 beauty on tour

01 sending you kisses
02 beauty on tour

sending you kisses is a deep berry shade, and beauty on tour is a peachy coral shade.

Both products had some condensation on top of them, but don't let that scare you off! It's just the reaction to the humidity.

Both cremes are creamy and glossy and I actually really like the texture of these. I also like the scent, they smell like candy :D

These retail for S$5.90 each.

Nail Polishes - S$3.50 each (8mL)

01 sending you kisses:   raspberry colour with a creme finish. Very pigmented, opaque in 1 coat, this is 2 coats. Great formula, very smooth.

02 beauty on tour: true orange colour with a jelly finish. Very sheer formula, but has easy application. This is 2 coats.

03 exits on your right:  pastel pea green with a creme finish. Nice formula, kind of thick though. This was 3 coats.

04 via airmail!: pastel navy blue creme.  Also a nice formula, this is 2 coats.

05 destination sunshine: pastel yellow with a creme finish. Nice formula, this was 3 coats.

Lastly there is the raved Peel Off Base Coat which is supposed to be great for those stubborn glitter polishes. I'm going to be trying this out this week, so look for the review sometime next week!

This retails for S$3.90

This last item I brought was the cosmetic bag which retails for S$5, I love collecting makeup bags and I love travelling and want to travel all around the world :)

The bag is the perfect size for your purse also!

So that's what I got from the Ready For Boarding trend edition, so far I love everything I  got. I think the collection is super cute and the colours are nice. I've read other blogposts and people said that the polishes aren't the most interesting of colours, and I agree with that however they all have great formulas and they are inexpensive so it doesn't hurt to pick them up if you don't already have the colours in your collection haha!

If I was going to pick a standout product from this collection it would be either the sending you kisses nail polish or the sending you kisses lip and cheek creme.

Thanks for stopping by,
Becky

  1. The Kajl Pencil look great, love the nude end it's gonna work great on the lower lash line. Also, I NEED the peel off base coat, it's essential for my glitter addiction :p

    1. You totally need the peel off base coat! (If you can't find it just use some PVA glue!) xx

    1. I've used it on my lid and my waterline and both worked fine! I've seen some reviews where people have said that it irritated their eyes, so if your eyes are very sensitive I would recommend testing it first.
